BATTERY RECYCLING PAUSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
We cannot accept damaged batteries.
BEFORE you drop off your batteries, please make sure we can accept them. The document below shows what we can take. We do NOT recycle car batteries, marine batteries, or any other wet cell batteries. We cannot accept batteries over 11 pounds.
When you drop off cellphones, please make sure that they are wiped free of personal information and placed inside a plastic bag. We cannot accept cell phones with damaged batteries.
Rochester Library is partnering with Recycle My Battery to provide free disposal of a variety of battery types. We are thankful for our volunteers, without whom this would not be possible.
