Monthly Book Clubs

At RPLD, we offer two monthly book clubs for our community. Check out which Book Club interests you below!

Day Book Club

Day Book Club meets at 10am and reads a little bit of everything. With monthly discussions lead by Adult Programs Coordinator Kendall, our conversations are lively, and there are always treats to share provided by Book Club members.

Copies of our monthly titles and discussion questions are available at the library in regular and large print. Audiobook versions on CD available on request. Check our Aspen catalog here for digital books and audiobook availability.

You can find what we’re currently reading, discussion questions, and past selections on our Day Book Club page. Click on the button below to be redirected!

Book Club Information

Evening Book Club meets at 5:30pm and reads books with a historical focus, including fiction and nonfiction. Members’ willingness to dig a little into the historical background of the story makes for interesting conversations around the book of the month.

Copies of our monthly titles and discussion questions are available at the library in regular and large print. Audiobook versions on CD available on request. Check our Aspen catalog here for digital books and audiobook availability.

You can find what our members are currently reading, discussion questions, and past selections on our Evening Book Club page. Click on the button below to be redirected!

Community Outreach

Rochester Public Library District provides monthly Outreach opportunities to the residents of Carriage Crossing and Rochester Estates Senior Living. View our schedule for Winter 24-25 below!

Blood Drives

Rochester Public Library District is proud to host bimonthly blood drives with ImpactLife. Check out our upcoming blood drives and register for an appointment below!

Blood Drives

 Wednesday, December 11 | 2-6 p.m.

Wednesday, February 19 | 2-6 p.m.

Registration required

This February, we’re partnering with Rochester VFW Post 11463 to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood. Less than 10% of the population gives blood, so donors that give on a regular basis are important to meet these needs. To schedule an appointment, please contact the library or register at: https://bit.ly/December11_Drive and https://bit.ly/February19BloodDrive
